Ministry of Commerce and Textile has established a Research, Development and Advisory Cell to review factors influencing the performance of Pakistan’s Textiles and Clothing industry based on analyses of international trade statistics, policies of major Textiles and Clothing exporting & importing countries, tariffs, Trade Agreements and factors generally contributing to cost of doing business.

To develop and revitalize the Textile Industry in order to create a strong export base through developing / maintaining the database and to serve as a bridge between Government and Textile Industry.
